I just found this awesome review for one of my earlier books: Not Just a Fling Check it out and if you're interested you can buy it now at a reduced rate at Ellora's Cave, Amazon, Barnes and Noble!!
Engaging and well-written July 20, 2014 By Romancing the Book Format:Kindle EditionReviewed by Colantha Book provided by the publisher for review Review originally posted at Romancing the Book The book started off a bit choppy but as I continued I was engaged and couldn’t stop reading until I finished. I chose this book to read as it seemed a light, hot, sexy contemporary romance. I have never read any of the author’s writing and after reading this short novel, I would read more. Christie Butler did not disappoint me as I really enjoyed this short novel and created some emotion in me especially the ending. Not Just a Fling was well written, had a plot, and also contained lots of romance and sex! This short novel also contained a story line that made me want to finish and see if Charlotte and Kyle move beyond their vacation and continue their fling. As the name states, it was apparent to me that this couple was full of attraction as chemistry, enough that made me dream of my own vacation fling! I found the story line of the couple being conflicted of what each other wanted, was the right way of placing in an contemporary erotica, as with other erotica’s I find there are no story curve so I rarely read them. With reading Not Just a Fling, I found Christie put me right into the setting and the plot so I had a back story of the characters and I was not confused of the plot. Reading the first page, I knew the reasons Charlotte was on vacation, however I really enjoyed the hidden part of Kyle’s story and did not really get to know him until the middle part. One thing I would like to see is the author making this novel into a erotica series, about maybe some of Charlotte’s coworkers or even or Kyle’s as I enjoyed getting to know the inside of their head. They were very likeable and I would recommend others try this one if they need a steamy quick fix!

Review by Susan Arden

Summary : Private Viewing is a red-hot scorcher of a read. Totally enticing in how Claire related to her hotter than Hades husband, Nick. Attorney and go-getter, this hunky sex-in-a-suit is walking a razor edge in his desire to satisfy his sexy wife aka retired lingerie model. These two sex-time-bombs explode in the presence of neighbor, Grayson. A man of privilege and Gray’s no slacker rich boy. Gray wants Claire and his way of displaying his craving is total craft in this story. Not a creeper although there was a minor peep show, but only to whet the appetite. We’re about to have a bit of fun in the tag-team duo of Nick and Gray. A man sandwich with Claire in between. One night and anything goes. Nick gives his wife the ultimate fantasy that they both can enjoy. Heck, all three in this alpha driven ménage. From swimming pool to the well-directed Grayson tool in bed, this is a fast-paced erotica novella that will grab your attention, burn your eyeballs, and have your motor reeving from start to end.
After a brief period of rest, I am once again gainfully employed during the day. Actually it wasn't very restful, it was really quite "stress"ful. But it's over now and I'm reasonably happy with my decision.
But now I find myself presented with two new problems.
First, my dog has gotten used to having me around 24/7 for a few weeks and she is going to require much more attention when I get home from work, making it harder to find time to write.
Second, it's the start of football season. I'm a fan, both college and pro. I fully expect my favorite teams to break my heart, but I'll be watching. So there goes my Saturdays and Sundays.
Looks like I'll have some late nights writing.
I'm going through a turning point in my life right now. I recently lost my day job and now I must decide whether to become a full time writer or search for another job in my field that I have been losing interest in. It's been really hard and I have to admit I am terrified to not have a safety net.
I'll take all the advice +/or encouragement anyone has to offer. Please leave your email address and I'll send a copy of my latest release, Private Viewing, to someone who moves me the most or helps put a smile back on my face!
Can't wait to hear from you!

ELLORA'S CAVE
Private Viewing by Christie Butler
Erotica
Ellora's Cave Publishing (July 26, 2013)
Rating: B
Heat: Sizzling
Heroine: Claire Damon – Wife, Former Lingerie Model
Hero: Nick Damon – Husband, Rich
Synopsis:
Nick Damon is desperately in love with his sexy Claire, a former lingerie model. Whenever they’re out, men gawk at her and flirt. Most men would be pissed, but not Nick. He loves it, is so aroused by it that it leads to mind-blowing sex. It’s become a game for them.
Living the dream life, Claire had no complaints. Used to being ogled and fantasized about, she loves how her husband always wants to show her off. Then Grayson Hill moved in next door. He’s hot and sexy and makes no secret of his desire for her.
It hasn’t escaped Nick’s notice that their new neighbor is hot for his wife. Suddenly he’s ready to change the rules of the game. Now to see how Claire reacts when she finds out Nick wants another man to do more than just look.
Review:
Claire, a former lingerie model, and Nick, a wealthy businessman, are happily—passionately—married. They have a great sex life. But, ever since their new neighbor Grayson moved in next door, there's been a simmering attraction between Gray and Claire. Nick couldn't help but notice. Somewhat jealous, somewhat turned on, Nick decides to invite Grayson over for one night of fun. Just one.
And what happens is dirty, dirty. These three more than live up to the term ‘marathon sex’. Claire should be one very sore lady the next day. And, even though Nick is allowing another man into their bedroom, I like how he takes control of the situation. How he's right there through it all, his main focus on making his wife satisfied. Quite satisfied.
Curious about the EC for Men line, I decided to see what kind of erotica turns the men on. This one caught my eye, for obvious reasons. Private Viewing might not be overly romantic, but it does have a heavy dose of marital bliss and I love you's. Also, there are way more blowjobs in this story than in any other erotica I've ever read. Not surprising, really. *wink* If you want to try a ménage romance that's quick and dirty and detailed, give this one a go.

I usually prefer Thanksgiving over Christmas--it seems to be quieter, less stressful--getting together with family, great food.
When Thanksgiving is over, I start to feel the pressure, the shopping, making cookies, all the parties. But I love the music, the lights.
This year, I find I have the craziest new Christmas obsession. Movies. I'm not talking It's a Wonderful Life, or White Christmas, or Holiday Inn. I mean, sure, those are all great movies and I'll watch those, too. But I'm talking cheesy made for television Christmas movies. You know- the ones on Lifetime, ABC Family, Hallmark.
I'm hooked. I've been seeking them out, flipping through my satellite guide, programming the DVR. The sappier the better, as far as I'm concerned. Santa Claus and angels appear in some of them, magically affecting the lives of the characters. Then there's the thousandth remake of A Christmas Carol.
I start watching, and within ten minutes, I know how it's going to end. But I don't care. I watch. I'm instantly taken in by the story, and I absolutely cannot look away.
I'm not exactly sure how this has happened, but there it is. This year, I will watch every schmaltzy Christmas movie I can find.
Do you have a guilty pleasure this Christmas?
I’ve always wondered about other authors’ writing habits. I tend to sit on my couch with my laptop, the television on in the background, the dog at the window barking at squirrels outside, a glass of wine at the ready.
It’s always in the evenings or on a weekend because I have a full time job doing something other than writing. I guess that’s why I can’t make myself sit at a desk to write- because it’s too much like work.
I suppose I’d get more work done if I had a dedicated space to write, but I like to be comfortable. I like to tell myself that I’m more creative when I’m relaxed. But maybe that’s why my work progresses at a snail’s pace!

However, while on vacation in Cabo she meets a man that tempts her to break her rule.Kyle Eastman has picked Cabo as his place to vacation to escape the pain he suffered when he lost his wife to an accident two years earlier. Now though, he’s ready to move on with his life and find someone else to love. So when he meets Charlotte, he believes she is the perfect match for him and does everything in his power to make her forget that she has sworn herself off men.
This was an unbelievable book that illustrated that one should never give up on finding love because one will find it when they least expect it. The plot was great, and flowed really well from start to finish as to did the dialogue which was a mix between serious and flirty. Then again, both their past relationships shaped their future one by giving them hope that everything would turn out all right if they each gave love another try. The sex scenes were smoking hot, and explored the chemistry these two had between them quite well. What I liked so much about the heroine was that even though she didn’t want another man in her life after a series of bad relationships in the past, she was willing to give Kyle a chance while she was on vacation. While with the hero, I liked that he took a chance on moving forward with his life and that he was willing to find love again after losing his wife.
Overall, this book was an excellent read and one that would interest those that love a good romantic tale about overcoming failed relationships and finding the one that is just right.
Charlotte Brody is on a mission. After a streak of bad relationships, she’s sworn off men. At least temporarily. A vacation in paradise is just the thing she needs to get her head straight. What shedoesn’t need is to meet a hot, sexy hunk dooming her to failure before she even gets started.

But it’s vacation, right? She doesn’t have to fall in love with the guy. Maybe they can just have a little fun together. The ocean, sun, margaritas and lots of hot, sweaty sex. Under the stars, under the table—anywhere and everywhere.

Kyle Eastman is in Cabo to escape the pain of his tragic past. He’s not in paradise to fall in love, but if it happens, he’s finally ready for it. In Charlotte, he sees everything he’s been looking for in a woman. And he can’t get enough of her silky skin, her beautiful mouth, her long, long legs… Now he needs to convince her to give them a chance, because he wants more than just a fling.

Review:

Good lord this book was hot! There was no surface left untouched with these two.

I complete understood where Charlotte was coming from. One bad relationship to another and not finding what she really wanted in the relationship. Taking a break from men in general, she embarks on a vacation that would completely change her outlook on men and on life.

Kyle Eastman was done dealing with his past and went on vacation to move forward. I love a man that has a plan. Planning his complete seduction of Charlotte will take more thought than he bargined for. I loved that Kyle was ready to move on and his connection with Charlotte was real, not forced.

Some of the scenes in this book are absolutely hiliarous. The misconnection betwen them at times was laugh out loud funny. Seriously. I felt like I was right there as a spectator and I couldn’t help but shake my head from the laughter. Great scenes Christie!

I felt the emotional connection between Kyle and Charlotte and while I liked the miscommunication scenes, it did crack my heart a bit. I really wanted those two to get together emotional. Physically, they already were there. *fans self*

When reality set in and it was time to go, what was Charlotte going to do? Read the book to find out.

Ms. Butler is a new to me author but not anymore. I loved her pacing, writing style and voice. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Butler’s work.
